Supported file types for inline viewing

The PerfectShare service includes a built-in viewing system to review and comment 2D and 3D files. This feature also includes the ability to view many other types of multi media files. Exactly which file types are supported, depend on your operating system and what software you have installed on your system. Basically, if your computer has the plug-ins or appropriate software installed, PerfectShare will also support it.

For instance, PerfectShare will support viewing PDF files within it's inline viewer. However, this requires that you also have Adobe Acrobat be installed on your computer. Same is true of viewing Powerpoint or Excel files. Our viewer will support it providing Microsoft Office is already installed on your computer.

Lastly, viewing 2D and 3D CAD models requires the installation of free browser plug-ins available from the prospective publishers site. i.e. viewing files exported from Dassault Systemes Catia V5, requires the instalation of the free 3D XML viewer available from Dassaults web site.
