What is PerfectShare?

PerfectShare is a web service where you can share, receive, and view files in a secure environment. Think of it as a file sharing tool for business users that may be non-technical people. It is designed to allow you to send and receive files from multiple contacts such as customers and vendors quickly and reliably. It eliminates the hassles of FTP and limitations of e-mail.

How is PerfectShare different?

Most data and document management software is bloated with features no one can use and is nearly impossible for a first time user to figure out without a manual. PerfectShare is intuitive with a minimum of unused features. Our feature set is extremely well thought out. You can be up and running with zero setup and no training. You will be productive the moment we setup your account.

How does the PerfectShare service work?

Files are easily exchanged and viewed in one centralized secure location. An easy to use control panel allows you to add or remove access to specific files on a user by user basis. You and your team members can access this information in the office, as well as while in the field. External users are isolated from one another and cannot "see" other users. The service is private branded with your logo and the appearance may be adapted to resemble your main corporate web site.

Why a hosted service?

A hosted service provides you with a number of benefits: 1) you won't need any new hardware; 2) you don't have to worry about maintaining the software. From the customer viewpoint, PerfectShare is maintenance-free. That is the beauty of software as a service (SaaS).

How secure is my data?

PerfectShare provides the security necessary for customers to feel confident about placing sensitive information online for secure collaboration amongst employees, suppliers, customers and partners.

What are the system requirements to use PerfectShare?

Since PerfectShare is hosted on our servers, there's nothing to install and no server/platform requirements to worry about. All you need is a modern web browser with Javascript turned on and an Internet connection. PerfectShare officially supports Windows XP and Vista with IE 6 or later and Firefox. On the MAC we support OSX with Safari or Firefox.

How does the 30-day free trial work? What about cancellation?

Sign-up. If you cancel a paying plan within 30 days of signing up you won't be charged a thing. The first 30 days are fee. If you continue beyond the 30 day period we will begin your billing account. There's no long term contract (it's just month-to-month) and you can cancel at any time. We don't prorate for partial months. Note that only new accounts are eligible for 30 day free trials - upgrades do not qualify.

Can I change plans at any time?

Yes - and it's really easy. Simply email our support department. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Plus, we'll never hit you up with a "set-up" or extra "one-time" fee when you upgrade.

If you select a plan then, later outgrow it, an upgrade can be had within minutes. Conversely, if business needs become less demanding, you can also downgrade just as easily.

Whether, upgrading or downgrading, all user and account history remains intact.

How quickly can my service be setup?

By using the signup form, your account will be immediately setup and available for you to login and start using your new service.

If you are working with our sales department on a custom configuration, your account can be setup within minutes of confirming of your order.

Are the features in the free account limited?

The free accounts and the paid accounts are identical in every way except:

1- Number of users
2- Disc Space

Every single feature is available in the free account. In fact, signing up for the free acccount is a great way to determine if the PerfectShare service fits your needs. If you sign up for the free you can upgrade at any time.

When upgrading / downgrading you will retain all account and user history and files. It is as simple as an email our phone call.
